display on monitor instead of serial after booting into OpenBSD

Hello all - how can I continue to use my HDMI monitor after U-boot boots 
into OpenBSD's ?
I have both serial & HDMI connected, and after booting into OpenBSD 
monitor goes dark and I can only use the serial to interact with 
OpenBSD.
I tried
boot> set tty ttyC0
ttyC0 not a console device
boot> set tty tty00
tty00 not a console device
Also, how would I use the keyboard I plug into the USB port ?

Any idea is appreciated.  Thanks !
