I had the same issue when I installed the recent snap on a Pandaboard.
If you can't wait for the corrected snap you can do what I did. I
manually downloaded the correct kernel, the ran the commands in install.md
to create a usable kernel. Take a look here,
http://www.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/src/distrib/armv7/ramdisk/install.md?rev=1.1
for the commands.

Hey,
Yes, that's currently a problem. I'll have a new snap soon, which should have
that fixed.
You need to use "mkuboot" on those kernels before you can put them on the sd
card,
but the next snap will have those shipped, too.

Hello,
Just tried a snapshot install of armv7, and it seems to go fine, but the
installer doesn't want to fetch bsd from the ftp servers. If I check
manually it seems the files are called:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 514 122 3113367 Sep 26 23:47 bsd.IMX
-rwxr-xr-x 1 514 122 3093897 Sep 26 23:47 bsd.OMAP
should I fetch and put one of those on my sd card manually?
thanks,
gabe.
