Considering OpenBSD on Smartphones as a future perspective, the MT6235 maight be something to look at.
One of the advantages is that OpenGSM in its incarnation as Osmocom actually supports the MT6235, so there is no bin blob required for the GSM stack anymore. (With realy cool impliations so to say.) Now the question is, is there already any partial support for this SoC and if yes, what is still missing? /jo
