Because those appliances are built using a kiwi config which determines the resulting package/file name. For example, https://build.opensuse.org/projects/openSUSE:Leap:15.6:Images/packages/opensuse-leap-image/files/config.kiwi?expand=1 line 39 correctly names it "15.6.0". You can put arbitrary strings there. What's the OBS project for that repo, which image in particular? Torsten
