Welcome to the new iteration of the gep-ed ("Global Environmental Politics")
listserve, now at <[email protected]>. Thank you for your patience this
last week as the list at <[email protected]> went "dark," this
the result of Allegheny College shutting down its email servers and
outsourcing its email to Google.
If you posted a message to the old list (at [email protected])
after 7 January 2010, it bounced back to you as undeliverable. If you posted a
message to the list around this time and aren't sure if it went out, you may
check the list archives (which contain all messages posted to the list on or
before 7 January 2010) at < http://www.mail-archive.com/gep...@listserve1.

If you see your message there, it went out. If you don't, or if you were
waiting for the list to go live again to post a message, I invite you to post
now, so that we can all get a feel for how this new configuration will work
for us.
Again, the new list address is <[email protected]> Each of you is
currently subscribed to receive individual messages as they are posted to the
list. You do have the option, however, of receiving no email ("web only
participation"), receiving one summary email a day, or one email will all
activity in it. If you're familiar with Google, you can adjust your delivery
setting on your own. Or, if you wish, you may email me and I can take care of
that for you.
I imagine that I'll need to tweak some of the list settings over these next
few days, and thus I ask for your patience as we together fine-tune this new
list to our liking.
