I would drop the pulse packages and get wireplumber, pipewire, pipewire-pulse and pipewire-alsa if there's some specific application not behaving you can try https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/WirePlumber#Adjust_volume_for_applications_not_currently_playing_audio wiki page has more info about the configs, default can be found in /usr/share/wireplumber/
