ok, in your ~/.xinitrc is the problem.
firstly you have to clean it up a bit and remove the if block, all lines
and only have a single line
exec ck-launch-session gnome-session.
All the above are in gnome wiki, read it
I used the latest core img for installation, I think the KMS should be
enabled as default.. I'll try to follow the wiki to enable it during
bootstrapping...
