Hi YANG doctors, As some of you might be aware, Dan Romascanu and Mehmet Ersue have been running the YANG doctors directorate for the last several years. Both of them were long-time participants in IETF but stopped coming to any meetings before COVID. At this time, they have decided to retire from their role as secretary of this directorate. I would like to take this opportunity to thank both of them for their years of contribution to IETF and wish them all the best in their retired role.
That also means that I am on the lookout to appoint two new secretaries for this directorate. You do not have to be a YANG doctor yourself to be a secretary, but it would help. The directorate is an important function, though the workload tends to be less than some of the other directorates such as OPSDIR.
