Hello, I need a little help cause I'm getting confused on how to attach a GPS to my android porting.
First: I'm working with 4.4.4 and I've a working RIL with an LTE modem from Telit. My GSM Module (LE910) also have a GPS chip so when attached it creates a ttyUSB wich produces NMEA sentences when enabled. The GPS module inside my GSM module have commands for stop/start/power on-off and other commands to handle the GPS part. I want to integrate the GPS in my android porting. Where I can start? What files exactly i have to edit to declare my port, customize commands and enable all GPS funcitions on my porting? I've made a little search around and i know i have to port the HAL Layer, but this is not so clear for me what to do.. if i can start from something like goldfish (i have this in my hardware folder) and customize for my needings or i have to follow another way? Thank you for help... I will appreciate so much.
