I am using Android 2.3.4 on an iMX53 QSB board. I have a modified board with a backup battery for the pmic rtc. This works as powering off the board and starting it back up again keeps the time. The kernel is setting the system time from the pmic and I can see on the serial console, the time has not been reset.
However at some point in the boot process the time gets reset and by the time the Android home screen is showing the time has reset to 12:00 1/2/1970. I would like to stop this from happening if possible, but I am having a hard time tracking down exactly where the time is being reset.
