Hello people.

I'm new in this group. I'm from Argentina.
I met Android by a friend, he got a Motorola Milestone, it brings Android
2.2, I liked it, so when I have the oportunity to bought a tablet with
Android, I bought it.

Unfortunately, I bought a HP Compaq Airlife 100. Let me explain about the
capabilities and specifications about this tablet.

Processor:
· Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz CPU
Memory:
· 512MB RAM, 512MB Memoria flash, 16GB SD
Display:
· 10.1″ TFT (1024 x 600 WSVGA), Táctil resistiva
Batery:
· 28 Wh typical Li-Polymer
Others:
· SD slot (up to 32GB support)
· Micro-USB port (not for charging)
· Bluetooth
· 802.11b/g WiFi

Well, you can see a more extensive technical information in this link:

The problem is that (as most HP products) the Android is very privative.
The factory version is an Android 1.6, with no market, no google account
sincronization, and too much limitations.

A lot of people (if not ALL) are unhappy with the tablet, and I think the
device can run a more newer Android version, like Gingerbread.

I don't have too much time to dedicate to this, but I start a project to
join people interested in making a new ROM for the device. I don't know if
it will work, but I need some help to start with this, with a new ROM, I'd
like this ROM contains Gingerbird

Sorry about my english, I speak spanish, my english is not so good sometimes
