I have no idea about how to handle the Android OS. But I have tried view page flipping ebook on my Android mobilephone. The page flipping ebook which is created by some software named Kvisoft flip page creator<http://www.kvisoft.com/flipbook-maker-pro/>works well, so maybe you can get some inspirations from it.
