This is one of those questions that may or may not be best asked in - platform so if there's a better place to ask please let me know.
I was asked a question by an OEM that had me scratching my head. What they want to do is have a single firmware image and on the initial boot silently install a set of applications depending on an external factor (say, for example, the hardware detected in the device). So my question is this; Is there a way to do this at the current time (e.g. copy of the apks to a specific place for rescanning), or will doing this require some OS modification?
