I'm intending to release my application through the Android Market and I want to make sure I can deploy new releases of the app and the users will be able to be notified of these and upgrade to them as soon as they can.
The Android documentation states that, appart from the android:versionCode property, it is entirely up to the application to provide an upgrade routine. What is the best strategy to achieve this? Note: I would also like to support Android 1.5 and onwards, if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!
