Hello All, I have very little idea about how the mobile phone networks work at a low layer so these questions maybe a little strange or in a completely wrong area so please bear with me. Most GSM phones have sim cards, I am interested to know if it would be possible to emulate the sim cards in software, for example would it be possible to write an application that you could then have multiple sim's running for the purposes of say having a 'work phone' and a 'personal phone'.
Many years ago I had a phone which supported two sim's however It seems there are no phones that run android and have this type of feature.. Any feedback would be really appreciated.
