Recently I evaluated a "web server" for Android. I was so impressed with its performance and utility. Potentially, this product may be bundled as a standard package with Android platform.
You could access your Android device with address such as, http://123.43.45.34:7800 The photo gallery and entire folder structure available for access over http. You can upload and download, so many great things. Did anyone ever try, installing Apache on Android? Its time, people should stop calling as, "Phone" or "Smart Phone" Its more than a phone. It is a Mobile Internet Device. It is not even a client device. In fact, it has the power of a server. With web server on Android, you can do file transfer without USB.
