Client is looking to fill a role of Business Analyst in Data Governance
Projects using Collibra and building data lakes. A brief role description
is provided below. The project is starting off the with Finance function,
so if the candidate has worked on Data Projects in the finance/ accounting
areas that would be an added advantage.
*Position: Business Analyst*
*Location : Remote or Chicago*
*Type: Contract*
- Develop detailed knowledge of data flows and processes
- Produce Data Warehouse Documentation (Data Lineage
Enablement/Management)
- Gather end user requirements for data, data quality and performance
- Gather, review, analyze and validate data feeding to the Data Warehouse
- Validate Field Name Consistency across Strategic Datasets
- Reconciling field name additions/changes across Strategic Datasets
- Automate identification of json field name (and camelCase standard)
- Collibra set-up for Data Lineage
- Working with Product Owner and Scrum/Development team to
groom/elaborate stories, create a backlog, and align priorities
- Creating business requirements for the projects defined within
Strategic Data Delivery Program
- Create end-to-end testing process for Strategic Data Sets
