*Please share your profile to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Power BI Developer/Data Visualization Analyst* *Remote Role* *Long Term* *The Data Visualization analyst is a hybrid role that pairs strong business analysis skills with strong data visualization development capabilities to deliver value-added analytics through Power BI Dashboards.* · 50% Business Analysis – Current state assessments, data discovery, requirement gathering, data validation, understanding the why (what outcomes/value will the data provide) · 50% Power BI Report Development – Get data + Building the visualizations *Work will be prioritized by the business and delivered through agile methodology (scrum) collaborating with other members of the Dairy Foods Data & Analytics team.* *Required Qualifications*? · 5+ years’ experience in business or data analysis, working directly with business users · 5+ years’ experience using BI tools (i.e. Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, IBM, etc.) to create interactive dashboards and reports · *Minimum of 3 years of strong Power BI experience* · Fluency writing DAX Measures and Calculated Columns? · Experience in Data Preparation: Fluency using Power Query and writing SQL queries for data preparation? · Demonstrated ability with Data Modeling: Relationships and DAX formulae across 15+ tables data models? · Exceptional Data Visualization Skills: being able to quickly provide meaningful insights from data, tell a story, and apply best practices · Strong understanding of Power BI capabilities and uses (both Power BI Desktop and Service) · Experience using agile/scrum methodology to deliver value-added solutions? · Strong leadership, partnership, and communication skills · Ability to coordinate with all levels of the organization to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems · Ability to influence without authority *Responsibilities*? · Identify and document Power BI reporting needs and requirements, through interviewing and collaborating with business users · Analyze current state processes and operations, evaluate, enhance existing reports and create new reports? · Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis related to operations, processes, and other business-related issues with Power BI. · Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Power BI reports and other Power BI tools? · Proactively propose specifications and solutions, while recommending best practices and planning on deployment? · Contribute and collaborative within and across IT teams in accomplishing assignments and prioritizing tasks effectively · Influence and contribute to business conversations by using reports and analytics to promote data-driven decisions *Preferred qualifications*? · Understanding of common data warehousing methodology and architecture?(Star Schema) · Experience with SQL and writing complex SQL queries · Experience working at a CPG company · Experience with M Language for Power Query? · Experience with Power BI Paginated Report Builder · Applied statistic skills, statistical methods, analysis techniques and general mathematics knowledgeability?
