Hello, I am running Android Studio 2.2.3 and API 24. Recently, the Studio stated there where updates available for mostly Google Repository. I accepted the updates and moved on. Today when Android Studio compiles a build I get this error.
Error: Unsupported type 'android.support.v7.widget.CardView' (see attachment). I have uninstalled the API and associated support tools and reinstalled them thinking there was a incomplete download or installation. But that did not do the trick. I have read the Android Developers docs and did not find anything to suggest there was an issue with my coding. Has anyone come across this?
