I just bought a 7" Android 4.0.3 tablet for developing and testing custom web apps but none of the touch gestures are firing? The demo i'm looking at is: http://riagora.com/mobile/hammer/ Unfortunately nothing happens when I touch the screen, whereas on the iPad, it works a treat! Really smooth!
I have also tried the demo at Hammer.js <http://eightmedia.github.com/hammer.js/>Same thing! Anybody have any idea what's going on? It's really frustrating! As I said, these demos work perfectly on the iPad, and also on my smartphone (android2.2). It appears that the OS is somehow blocking the custom events from firing Cheers!
