Hello , I am thinking of making an application on image processing that requires heavy computations and I want to accelerate it using FPGA and I read about "Android Open Accessory API" . Is it possible practically to design my custom hardware that actually accelerates the application knowing that the communication interface is USB ? Will it be slow for this kind of application ?
