If removing and reimporting the project works, and refreshing and rebuilding did not -- you're working around an Eclipse bug, not your lack of knowledge.
Deleting and re-importing the project is your third-biggest Eclipse hammer. The higher ones are: * Creating a new Eclipse workspace and importing your project there. * Creating a new project from scratch.
