That's really not all that good. So if I want to have my app listed on an alternative market, because Google doesn't provide all users with access to paid apps, then I cannot use the new mechanism ... unless the alternative market provides a binary compatible lib. Right? Otherwise I would need to disable the check for non-Android Market apps. Maybe that isn't too bad (except of course for the alternative markets), but it would mean that somebody who has the Android Market needs to buy the apps exclusively there and cannot use an alternative market.
