Hi Frank, Thank you very much for your reply..
The reason I am trying to filter the objects (addresses) is that it cause the device to crash when I visualize large amount of data (more than 3000 addresses at the same time) so what I am trying to do is to reduce the overhead by ONLY visualizing the onscreen objects which makes sense since the user will only be able to see them. Now what is the difference in filtering depending on GeoLocation (Lat and Long) or onScreenCoordinates?? and if I wanted to do filtering on Geolocation (lat and long) how can I find the scope (the lat and long) the boundaries of the (visible rectangle) of the map.??? Last night, I have also tried the method of mapview.getlocalvisibleRect(rect t) and still not working??? any help will be highly appreciated..
