I am running Vista, and when I enable the Application/Development/USB debugging setting, the 'found new hardware' dialog comes up and cannot find a driver. I assume this is the reason why 'adb devices' does not give any results. Sigh.
What I would like to see is instructions how to get the G1 attached to a Vista development machine (which device drivers to install, commands to issue so that the docs section on adb works), and then how to make it all work in Eclipse.
