Hi Satheesh, To get all the basics systematically .. best is you go throught each of the topics from "getting started" and "developing Applcations" sections on the android docs:
http://code.google.com/android/intro/index.html Getting started will be good for basics like anatomy of android.. app model etc.. and developing apps, u will get all the relevant information about using Views, database etc....
