Hello, are there any examples how to access the phones GSM modem and is it possible to place a DataCall using Android?
I would like to write an application which creates a two-way data connection between two Android phones using a GSM or UMTS DataCall. It has to be a real data call (i.e. using a telephone number) and not an Internet based data transfer (so no WLAN, WAP, Bluetooth etc). I would appreciate any pointers you can give me.
