Hello,
My name is Braden Napier. I am developing an application for
Android that assists in bridging developers products to consumers in a
quick and effective (linux-like) way. Currently, if you are an owner
of any smart phone, the biggest challenge is to learn what cool
programs are out there and available to you. It wasn't until I owned
my Palm device for over a year I discovered you could mod everything
from the dialer to the contacts list (granted, I never really looked
into it).
With Android, we have a chance to make this an easier task utilizing
techniques that have been proven to work on the Linux Operating
System. We want to reduce the hassle of searching the internet for
hours to find a certain Android application, and we have begun
development on a networked program that will handle this.
We want to work with developers and develop and maintain a
relationship with any/all developers to help distribute and maintain a
database of up-to-date Android applications. Things such as:

 - Download/Installing/Removing Applications just by searching
 - Getting information, screenshots, videos, review etc before
installation
 - Automatic product updates when installed using a version checker
built-in
 - Allowing developers to keep in contact with their users through
mobile-connection
 - "Featured Applications"
 - Freeware / Pay-to-use sections
 - Receive/Send payments for applications directly over the mobile
platform
 - And more

We have already purchased the server required and have partnered
with a few select developers but would like to begin the process of
gathering the support of more third-parties.

Thank you - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - we can go into much more depth
over private-email.
