Forwarding to the Amarok-devel mailing lsit where this belongs,
amarok#is for user support.

Please have a look at the documents listed in
http://community.kde.org/Amarok/Development, there is really enough
documentation about the architecture of Amarok.

To search for specific parts in the amarok code I suggest you install
the tool called "ack-grep", it is really useful to find code snippets
and strings.

Also please submit your suggestions to reviewboard, those should go
there, even in an early stage.

Regards, Myriam

I'm working on this bug (#177258), and I needed some help finding my
way around the code and deciding how to go about implementing it.

Where (and/ or how) are various config options handled in the code? I
would be grateful if somebody could point me towards some
documentation.

And the implementation- do I implement jumps VLC style, with 4
different durations? If so, what key mapping do I choose, the same as
VLC? I'm not so sure about the alt+ctrl+l/r combination, I believe
it's the Unity default for moving between workspaces.
Is the attached config dialog okay?
