So, the trick is to look at the headers of a list email message and see that the server sending them
out is at omniscient.com. It is another company which, similarly to Zmanda, Carbonite and BETSOL,
has made use of the opensource Amanda and contributed back by, in this case, hosting the lists. But,
they seem to be semi-invisible in the background. I don't know who the actual people are.
Similarly, looking up amanda.org on whois.icann.org turns up Omniscient
Technologies.
Been that way for at least 10 years, probably longer.
