Yes.

Are those 30 tapes labeled with the amlabel command?

Yes. Nothing changed. They were amlabeled a few months ago.

Are they labeled with a string that matches that specified in amanda.conf?

Indeed.

How many of those 30 have been used at least once by amanda?

All of them.

What is your tapecycle value?  Is it greater than 30?

tapecycle 30 tapes  

So not greater than 30.

What does amcheck say about the tape it expects to use?
