My laptop has 4 speakers and a subwoofer. I have correctly set these up in
hdajackretask, however alsa treats all speakers as front speakers. That is,
speaker-test -Dsurround41:PCH -c 5 causes front left, rear left and LFE to
sound for channel front left; causes front right, rear right, and LFE to
sound for channel front right; and causes no speakers to sound at all for
rear right, rear left, and center.
