Hello,
Is there a guide to what I could fiddle with trying to get any bass out of
my sound hardware?

I have to use windows occasionally solely for the purpose of watching
movies to not get a completely flat and uninteresting sound, and it bothers
me so much that I think i should invest the necessary hundred hours
learning to fix this myself.
But any hints on where to start would be appreciated,
