So have noticed some 1 second periodic dropouts playing back from my home brew
VB box using HRT II DAC.
Tailing the logs confirms that the drop out coincides with these messages:

sound/usb/endpoint.c:203 cannot submit sync urb (err = -27)

sound/usb/endpoint.c:180 cannot submit urb (err = -27)
The box is a dual core Atom in a Shuttle XS35.
This seems to be Fedora 16 related -

This started to happen when Vortexbox upgraded to a F16 based distribution,
reverting to F14 the problem goes away which I think exonerates my hardware.
At this point I don't know if its more Fedora or ALSA ? Any body else run into
this on this list ?
