It uses Realtek ALC883 8-channel audio codec Realtek RTL 8201 phy chipsets (cheapsets :D ) . I have tough time setting the microphone on ALSA. I can capture only iwth the lips ONLY 3 inches from mic. Any other small movement stalls the mic capture. That makes chatting with skype impossible.
