My problem is that two days ago, sound stopped and I have no idea what has
changed.
cat /proc/asound/cards yielded some information earlier today, but that
pseudo-file disappeared after that, so I cannot show the output.
Some module obviously unloaded itself.
I see a lot of modules under /lib/modules/2.6.37.6-0.7-desktop/kernel/sound
but, as I said, I cannot convert the above information into a driver name.
I hope this is enough information for someone to point me in a direction.....
