Hi Alsa, I'm having trouble with my new ThinkPad (which up until yesterday was working fine).
Now, when I try to play audio (using mplayer) or change the volume (using alsamixer) it works when I am on a tty, but when I start the X server, it stops working. Is this a normal problem?
