If what you want is a headset (ie a microphone and ear pice3 to do things like
skype,) buy a headset. If you want a general purpose sound card buy that. I
have a USB MAUDIO transit which is vvery basic ( and has only line in, no
additional amplification for microphone) but has good performance. It is
probably not best for skyping.
