Hello list Since ALSA is a powerful but complicated beast I thought it would be convenient to get an easy overview of the sound cards and their devices.
This is what AlsaInfo-Qt4 does. It basically displays the same informations that "aplay -l" and "arecord -l" print but combined in a nice Qt window. Besides that there is a tree view that shows the ALSA configuration tree as acquired from the snd_config variable. The source code for version 0.1.0 is available at sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/alsainfo-qt4/files/ and as for alsamixer-qt4 there is a small web page at http://xwmw.org/alsainfo-qt4/ Any comments are welcome.
