My problem is, that the .asoundrc does *nothing*. Still having people talking in movies without anything on my speakers. Is there really no solution for this in ALSA? Maybe I should ask somewhere else? Another solution would be, if it's possible to tell the kernel driver that my soundcard in fact is no 5.1 card. Is this possible?
