Sorry, I do not know about Dmix. `alsa-info.sh` shows you are using the
following configuration.


        !!ALSA configuration files
        !!------------------------
        
        !!System wide config file (/etc/asound.conf)
        
        pcm.!default {
                type hw
                card SB
                device 1
        }
        ctl.!default {
                type hw
                card SB
        #device 1
        }

Maybe someone else can help.

Could you try if PulseAudio works for you. Then you would know if your
Dmix configuration is the fault.
