Hello. I am looking for a simple example or piece of code which demonstrates how to record from a microphone using ALSA.
I've been browsing the web but mostly turned up hits about enabling microphone recording for different type of applications, but not really anything that goes into code and structures. Of course I could dissect PulseAudio, GStreamer or such but I'd love something which goes straight to the good stuff.
