Hello, 046d:08ca Logitech Quickcam Fusion webcam: When having Skype conversations the microphone of my webcam not only records my voice but also an annoying tick sound which gets repeated every second. Listen to this recording: "http://kwaaikop.fileave.com/webcam Logitech Fusion micro records annoying tick sounds every second.mp3". In Windows Vista the audio input with Skype is flawless. It is not a problem of Skype as guvcview also records the tick tick sound. For years I lived with this hindrance hoping that new software would resolve it but I can't stand it no longer so here's my question: is there a solution for this problem? does anybody else have this problem? I've read in forums.quickcamteam.net that USB mics have their own driver in alsa. I hope someone here knows what the cause of this problem is. I will also file a bug report at alsa. I've played with alsamixer (alsamixer -c 1: setting motherboard audio input mixers to zero) but that doesn't help.
