It's worth having a look at your capture controls > though. The capture controls in alsamixer are: Front Mic Boost Mic Boost Capture Capture 1 Input Source. This one is a switch that alternates between: Line, CD, Front Mic,Mic and Stereo Mixer I have tried every combination without success. On the F3 pane I have: Master Front Headphone PCM Front Front Mic Surround Center LFE Side Line CD Mic Independent HP. This one is a ON/Off switch All the channels are unmuted and all thw way up. > > Well I've just booted up Archlinux on the machine with the Audigy2 > soundblaster card. It does have an analog mix control though which needs to be up. > Switching to "F4" for the capture options, I need to move to the line > slider, press space bar to enable it, and push the line slider up. It used to work with my previous motherboard. The output from the tv card has sound, I can hear it if I connect the speakers directly to it.
