Today I've compiled newest 2.6.27.8 kernel, including your patch - and
it seems to be working just fine. :)
In my opinion, it can be instantly included in next (ALSA | kernel)
sources. I'll use it since now, and in case of any problems (which I'm
not expecting), I'll let you know.
