I'm pretty sure that analog capture works, or that it worked last time I tried. Can't say anything about Optical or Coaxial. On the other hand, I'm aware that driver has it's share of bugs. For example if you try to sync to optical or coax if there is nothing connected (not sure if it's both or just one of them that breaks), it will start playing for very short amount of time, and then stop. Unloading the driver will make the machine unable to restart or anything, somekind of weird bug, since card is left in somekind of weird state. Also, mixer control names kind of suck. There is no Front or Rear or Center or LFE on this card. I'm sorry. There is just Out X. There is no CD In or whatever. There is just In X. You get the idea. I guess this could be fixed if someone who knows worked on it. I would do it, but my knowledge isn't sufficent for that. Not to mention that there are mixer controls which don't change anything (PCM Front, for example, not sure if I'm doing something wrong?).
