Did you try aplay -v -D plughw:0,0  some.wav  ?  What were the results?

aplay runs with no error, but still without sound. Btw, I added the 2 lines
you mentioned in modprobe.conf, then, I tried aplay.

I'll do more tests and update you if any new finding.
