The following warnings occured: config.status: WARNING: Makefile.conf.in seems to ignore the --datarootdir setting rm: Entfernen von „/dev/snd“ nicht möglich: Is a directory libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-sbase.la' libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-ac97.la' libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-hda.la' libtool: install: warning: relinking `smixer-python.la' config.status: WARNING: alsaconf/po/Makefile.in seems to ignore the --datarootdir setting 35 übersetzte Meldungen, 1 unübersetzte Meldung. 34 übersetzte Meldungen, 1 ungenaue Übersetzung, 1 unübersetzte Meldung. Do you know what this "--datarootdir" means? And, is there something wrong with /dev/snd? Further, the ./install wrote the following msg: *** NO PREDEFINED KERNEL COMPILER IS DETECTED *** Assuming the same compiler is used with the current system compiler. *** Please make sure that the same compiler version was used for building kernel. Is this the point? Do I need a "predefined kernel compiler"?? Further, I get the msg: WARNING!!! The mixer channels for the ALSA driver are muted by default!!! ************************************************************************** You would use some ALSA or OSS mixer to set the appropriate volume. Can I ignore this warning? Let us repeat which packages are needed: libsound2-dev libncurses5-dev ...then using the following command: apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-generic libncurses5-dev Is there something more I need?
