Is there any way to monitor arecord's progress? In terms of time recorded, space used, and mixer levels? I've got two like USB devices and can only record from both at the same time with arecord. I would like to able to monitor what is recorded, so I can adjust the gain / mic level if it's too weak, or too strong.
