Good day. I'm trying to use the "file" plugin to dump stereo 96 kHz, S24_BE LPCM from DVD to a file:
$ mplayer -ao alsa:device=file=track01 -vo null dvd://1 -chapter 1-1 which isn't working: | ========================================================================== | Opening audio decoder: [dvdpcm] Uncompressed DVD/VOB LPCM audio decoder | AUDIO: 96000 Hz, 2 ch, s24be, 4608.0 kbit/100.00% (ratio: 576000->576000) | Selected audio codec: [dvdpcm] afm: dvdpcm (Uncompressed DVD/VOB LPCM) | ========================================================================== | [AO_ALSA] Unable to set format: Invalid argument | Could not open/initialize audio device -> no sound. | Audio: no sound | Starting playback... Dumping to file using this method works fine for stereo 48 kHz, S16_BE LPCM as more regularly found on LPCM DVDs. Is this expected? A bug? If latter, where?
